Alums across the country serving on MLK Day!

As AmeriCorps Alums, we have come to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day annually as a Day of Service and 2013 was no different! This year, AmeriCorps Alums Chapters served communities across the country for both the MLK Day and the National Day of Service on Inauguration weekend.

Austin Alums served by cleaning up MLK Blvd with several organizations from around the city, viewed the documentary The Interrupters and helped CADCA and Home Depot to make repairs to the homes of 3 veterans.
